This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of combining the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) cooperative learning model and the active discussion method in deepening students' understanding of the Asmaul Husna material. The NHT model emphasizes the importance of group cooperation and individual responsibility through structured discussions, in which each group member actively participates. The active discussion method provides opportunities for students to express ideas, communicate, and develop a more critical understanding of the material. The combination of these two approaches is expected to improve learning motivation, student engagement, and learning outcomes in the Asmaul Husna material. The findings of this study indicate that the implementation of the combined model successfully encourages active student participation and strengthens their understanding of the Asmaul Husna, in contrast to traditional learning methods that are usually passive. The combination of these two approaches as a creative learning strategy in the context of Islamic religious education, especially in the Asmaul Husna material, with an emphasis on intergroup interaction and discussion as key elements to achieve success in learning
